Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site of Canada was once a lively 17th century trading post located in Duhamel-Ouest, Quebec, near Ville-Marie. Ideally positioned along the east shore of Lake Timiskaming, the fort was a popular destination for fur traders and merchants.

Today, Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site of Canada provides visitors access to the historic fort grounds, a permanent exhibition of Algonquin presence and the trading post’s role in the fur trade for nearly two centuries, as well as several historic re-enactments and temporary exhibits.
