The Michelsen Farmstead is a historic farm house built in 1902 by Andreas Michelsen. The Victorian style house is supported by several outbuildings including a barn, corrals and pens, various sheds, and a granary.
Today, the Michelsen Farmstead is open to the public as an interpretative centre and museum that depicts life during the 1900s-1930s. Each summer the Historical Society holds day-camps for children and an old fashioned harvest dance which is held on the grounds of the Michelsen Farmstead every October.
