Moore Museum

Take a stroll around the heritage village of Moore Museum and discover the history of Mooretown. The site is home to 12 historic buildings where visitors can experience first hand historic exhibits and artifacts. A one-room schoolhouse demonstrates what it was like to be a teacher or a student over the years. See the tools of the trade in the printing press, blacksmith shop, and harness shop. Explore antique farm equipment that supported the communities agricultural community. Visit the former Mooretown railroad station and wooden caboose which provided a valuable transportation link for the early residents of the area. The Moore Museum is located in Mooretown, just 25 minutes south of Sarnia and is open March through December.
