Port Moody Station Museum
Port Moody Station Museum is owned and operated by the Port Moody Heritage Society and it's purpose is to increase awareness and knowledge of Port Moody history and heritage. Located in Port Moody's 1908 CPR Railway Station, the building which was in use through to the 1970's, now provides visitors a glimpse into it's operations in the throughout the years.
The railway display at the exterior of the museum exhibits four-man handcars and boombar; the Venosta railcar - a first-class sleeper car constructed in 1921; the CPR Railway Garden - based on 1910-1912 styles; the Meditation garden centered around a massive holly tree.
